Our Approach to Safe, Stable and High-Quality Support

At KPD Community Living, our operational model is built around three core principles:

SAFE • STABLE • SUPPORTED

These principles underpin every aspect of how we design homes, deliver support, train staff and monitor quality. Our framework ensures that every person we support receives consistent, person-centred care in a safe and stable environment.

🟩 Our Supported Living Model

We deliver a small homes, high-quality outcomes model designed specifically for:

  • Adults with Learning Disabilities

  • Autistic adults

  • 16–25 transitions

  • Individuals stepping down from residential, inpatient or out-of-county placements

Our homes typically support 2–3 people, ensuring:

  • Calm, low-stimulus environments

  • Predictability and routine

  • Reduced placement breakdown risk

  • Increased personal space and dignity

  • Better staff-resident relationships

This model aligns with social care best practice and Local Authority commissioning objectives for sustainable community living.

🟦 Accommodation Stability Through PropCo Ownership

Through KPD Group Holdings, we operate a PropCo + OpCo model, giving commissioners and families long-term confidence.

Our PropCo approach provides:

  • Owned or long-leased homes

  • Zero landlord uncertainty

  • Future-proofed housing capacity

  • Ability to mobilise new capacity in GL1, GL2, GL3, GL51 regions

  • Long-term home stability for individuals

This ensures placements are secure, predictable and free from tenancy instability.
